I UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
ADOLPH PLATKY, OF NEWV YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR LADY'S MUFF.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 16,220, dated September 1, 1885.
Applicatirn filed June 30, 1985. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ADOLPH PLATKY, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented a new and original Design for Ladies Mufl's, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part of this specification, in which similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in both figures.
Figure 1 is a front view of my new design for a ladys muff, and Fig. 2 is an end view of the same.
The muff A has a straight top, B, concave ends 0, straight end parts, M, between the ends of the straight top 13 and the upper parts of the concave ends 0, and a downwardlypeakcd bot-tom edge, D-that is, the bottom edges are peaked down and toward each other from the lower ends of the concave ends.
1*] is a fringe on the lower end of the muff.
F is a ruiliie around the hand openings in the concave ends.
G is an ornamental bow or loop on the front of the muff.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- 1. The design, substantially as herein shown and described, for a muff, consisting of a muff having concaved ends, a straight top, the bottom edges inclined downward toward each other, and the straight parts M on the ends between the ends of the straight top and the upper parts of the concaved ends, as set forth.
2. The design for a muff, consisting of a muff having concave ends and peaked bottom edge, the front of the muff being approximately of equal width from its top to the lower parts of the concave ends, as shown.
