IMPROVEMENT IN BvUTTON-GAITERS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent No. l11{A),500, dated April 7, 1874; application filed February 13,1874.
To all whom yit may concern:
Be it known that I, PATRICK MCNULTY, of New York, in the countyof New York and State of New York, have invented a certain new and useful Improvement in Button-Gaiters; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, snch as Will enable others skilled in the art to `which it pertains to make and use it, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form part of this specification, in which` Figure l is a perspective view of my invention. Figs. 2, 3, and 4 represent the patterns for cutting the upper.
This invention has relation to an improvement in the manufacture of button-gaiters, and consists in forming the same without a separate vamp and button-piece, the quarters being eut to extend from the heel to the toe, and the 'button-piece cnt in one of said quarters, as hereinafter described.
The object of this invention is to produce a perfectly-fitting gaiter of neat and attractive appearance, with a considerable saving of 1abor and material.
