DESIGN FOR A SLlPPER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31 ,422, dated August 15, 1899.
Application filed June 3, 1899. Serial No. 719,310. Term of patent 14: years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HENRY P. KINGSLAND, a citizen of the United States, residing at 102 East Nineteenth street, New York, in the county of New York, State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Slippers, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of a slipper embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same.
The reference-letter a designates the sole of the slipper, which is straight or horizontal, as shown in Fi and rounded at its front tr 0 and rear ends I) and c. The rear end portion of the upper B of the slipper is inclined forward, as shown at d.
The heel portion or counter D of the slipper, which constitutes the leading feature of the design, is curved downwardly orconcaved at the center 6 of its upper edge, and said counter inclines forwardly, as shown at The side edges 9 of the counterDare curved or rounded, as clearly shown.
