DESIGN FOR A STOCK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 31,021, dated June 13, 1899. Application filed February 16, 1899. Serial No- 705,724. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ARTHUR LITTLE, acilizen of the United States, residing at Swamp scott, in the county of Essex and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced anew and original Design for a Stock, of which the following is a specification, reference bein g had therein to the accompanying drawing, which is a plan view showing the collar portion of the stock flattened or straightened out and the tie portion thereof tied into a new style of bow-knot.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists in the bow-knot A, disposed and arranged as shown in the drawing, wherein the points a a extend upwardly toward the upper edge a of the collar portion of the stock from the pods a? The rearwardly-extending portions or a of the tie each incline upwardly from the knot a to near the upper edge of the collar portion at the rear ends a a thereof.
