SPECIFICATION formingpart of Design N 0. 33,968, dated January 22, 1901. Application filed December 13, 1900.. Serial No. 39.791. Term of patent 14s years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EDWARD J. MORISSE,,
. residing at South Milwaukee, in the county of Milwaukee and State of Wisconsin, have invented a new and original Design for a Hot- Air Register, of which the following is a description, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, which are a part of this specification.
The design consists in the conformation and embellishment in and by the structure thereof of a hot-air register designed to be employed over stovepipe apertures through floors and Walls.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a plan of the hot-air register. Fig. 2is asection on line? 2 of Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 is a section on line 3 3 of Fig. 1.
As shown in the drawings, the design is embodied in a register having novel conformation and embellishment formed in andby the contour of the register generally and specifically in and on its surface. The register is in annular form and in general appearance is flat. An outer annular margin 5 has an outer and an inner line of open intertwined raised ornamentation. A medial annularportion of the register 6, separated from the outer margin and from an inner annular portion by raised circular lines of ornamentation, has a number of ovoidal apertures 7, longest radially and bordered by raised curved ornamentation, across which apertures severally extends radially a bar 8, and between these apertures there is a raised ray flower encircled by raised segments of spheres, and also other otherwise unoccupied parts between the apertures have raised fanciful leaf ornamentations, and an inner annular portion 9, bordered by raised circular lines, has diamondshaped apertures in the space between the bordering raised circles.
I claim- The design for a hot-air register as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I aflix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
