UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
ISAAC SHELBY WEILER, OF NEW YORK, N. Y., ASSIGNOR TO THE SMITH- COURTNEY COMPANY, OF RICHMOND, VIRGINIA.
DESIGN FOR AN lNGOT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,953, dated January 22, 1901. Application filed December 28, 1900. Serial No. 41,424. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, ISAAC SHELBY WEILER, a citizen of the United States, residing at New York, in the State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Ingots; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The accompanying drawing represents a perspective view of a design for an ingot.
The leading feature of my design consists of an elongated body portion having rounded corners and downwardly and outwardly flaring fiat sides and two upwardly-projecting blocks having rounded corners with a space between them, said space flaring outwardly at its ends and coming closest together near the center of its length.
1 in the drawing represents the main body of the ingot, which is elongated and substantially rectangular in shape and having slanting sides 2 and rounded corners 3. The body portion is formed with upwardly-extending blocks 4, having rounded corners 5 and plain flat upper surfaces 6, with a space 7 between said blocks, said space forming a vertical passage which extends from the upper edge of the blocks 4 to the main body portion 1. This central vertical passage 7 flares outwardly at its opposite ends, as shown, the narrowest portion of the passage beingat the center of the length thereof.
Having now described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by design Letters Patent, is
The design for an ingot substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I hereunto affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
ISAAC SHELBY WVEILER.
Witnesses:
