DESIGN FOR A BOX.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 22,290, dated March 14, 1893.
Application flied l'ehruaryB, 1898. Serial No. 461,624. Term of patent 7 yuan.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, HEZEKIAH J. BURN- WORTH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cambridge, in the county of Guernsey and State of Ohio, have invented a. certain new and original Design for Boxes, of which the following is n. specification, reference be ing had therein to the accompanying drawing, in which is represented a. perspective view of the invention.
As will be seen from the drawing, the invention consists of arectangnlar box or block a greater in length than in width, and having a rectangular pocket I) formed in its upper surface, near one of its ends. Another pocket or recess 0 is formed in the upper surface of the box or case this pocket being shallower than pocket I) and extending from near the same approximately to the otherendof the box, a wall 0 being formed between the two pockets. The bottom of recess 0 is inclined gradually from the wall 0' upwardly toward the other end of the box, terminating approximately even with its upper surface. A suit able cover 01 is hinged along one edge of the box and is rovided with a suitable catch (1'.
