DESIGN FOR A GLASS VESSEL.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,456, dated August 3, 1897.

Application filed March 5, 1896. Serial No. 582,006. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Beit known that I, GEORGE E. WEsT, acitizen of the United States, residing at Pittsburg, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania, have invented or discovered a certain new and original Design for Glass Vessels, of which the following is a specification.

The invention described herein relates to a certain new and original design for glass vessels, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, showing, in

Figures 1 and 2, side elevations of opposite sides of the vessel, and in Fig. 3 a front elevation of the vessel.

The leading features of the design consist of plain or unornarnented surfaces on the sides of the vessel, spaced horizontal marks on the plain surfaces, and of series of vertical ribs, giving the appearance of reedings between the plain surfaces.

Portions 1 0f the sides of the vessel are made plain or unornamented, and spaced horizontal marks 2 are arranged on these plain surfaces predetermined distances apart. Series of vertical ribs 3, having the appearance of a reeding, are arranged between the plain surfaces.

I claim herein as my invention The design for glass vessels, substantially as shown and described.
