UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
UIIAUNOEY J. KILMER, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESlGN FOR A BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,630, dated December 4, 1900.
Application filed September '7. 1900- Serial No. 29,348- Term of patent '7 years- TO all whmn it 712,01] concern;
Be it known that I, OHAU NoEy J. KILMER, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of New York, borough of Brooklyn, county of Kings, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Bottle, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description.
The leading feature of my design consists in a bottle having a cylindrical body and a neck the outer surface of which is concave at its lower end and cylindrical at its upper end, while the in ncr surface of the neck is tapered downwardly at its upper portion and flares with a downward convexity at its lower portion. The distance between the concave portion of the outer surface and the convex portion of the inner surface increasing upwardly, so that said portions converge downwardly.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawings,forming a part of this specification, in which Figure l is an elevation of a bottle embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a sectional elevation of such a bottle, and Fig. 3 is a plan.
A is the cylindrical body of the bottle, from the upper end of which extends the neck,hav-
ing' upon its outer surface first a concave lower portion A and then a cylindrical upper portion A nnerging tangentiallyin to the lower portion A. At the top the neck has a bead A The inner surface of the neck has a downwardly-tapering upper portion A, terminating at about half the height of the outer surface of the neck, and a down wardly-con vexed flaring lower portion The distance between the concave lower portion A of the outer surface of the neck and the convex lower portion A of the inner neck-surface increases upwardly, so that said. portions converge downwardly.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for the bottle herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have signed my name to this specification in the presence of two subscribing witnesses.
