DESIGN FOR A PAVING-BRICK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,646, dated May 8, 1900.

Be it known that I, VESLEY REES, acitizen of the United States, residing at Memphis, in the county of Scotland and State of Missouri, have invented and produced a new and originnlDesign for a Paving-Brick; and I do herebydeclare the following to be a full, clear, and Y exact description of the same, reference be ing had to the accompanying drawings, forming a. part thereof.
Figure l of the drawings is a perspective view of a paving-brick embodying my new design; Fig. 2, a side elevation thereof; Fig. 3, an end View.
In the accompanying drawings, A represents the paving-brick constructed in accordance with my design, a, rib @projecting from one side of the brick and extending longitudinally thereof, and upon the opposite side oi." the brick is acorrespondiugly-formed groove the rib and groove extending throughout the length thereof. The ends c of the brick flare outwardly in a direction from top to bottom, forming thereby n base d of increased length, the thickness or width of the brick being uniform from top c to bottom f, thereby forming a brick of uniform thickness and of increased length at its base, with t longitudinal rib and a longitudinal groove upon its respective sides.
Having now fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
