Be it known that I, CHARLES F. SMITH, a citizen of the United States, residing in New Britain, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Knife-Handle, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, in which-- Figure 1 isa side elevation of a knife-handle, showing my design. Fig. 2 is a transverse section of the same on the line as a: of Fig. 1.

As shown in the drawings, each side has a plain flat middle portion 3, surrounded by a' beveled edge having longitudinal beads 4, which extend around the butt of the handle. A portion of the blade is indicated in broken line w w of Fig.

On the plain fiat middle portion 3, near the front end, there is a circular projection 6, with a face having a rounded form.
