DESIGN FOR A GARDEN-TROWEL.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,226, dated April 24, 1894.
Application filed March 21,1894. Serial lie-504,558- Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HARRISON BRAND, a citizen of the United States, residing atIlion, in the county of llerkirner and State of New York, have invented a certain new Design for Garden-'lrowels, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates togarden trowels,and the invention consists of a design for the trowel.
Figure 1 is a front perspective view, and Fig. 2 is a rear perspective view.
The leading features of the design consist of a pointed blade B concave transversely on its front, and a handle H concave on its rear face, this handle where it unites with the blade terminating in a V shaped portion 1, convex on its front face and concave on its rear, all as clearly shown in the accompanying drawings. It will be observed that the concavity of the handle is much greater than that of the blade. it constituting nearly a semi circle, and that the end of the handle is rounded 0E and curved backward on nearly the same line of curvature as the sides of the handle as clearly shown in the figures.
What I claim is The design for a garden trowel herein described and shown.
