DESIGN FOR A NOZZLE FOR SYRINGES.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,210, dated January 25, 1898. Application filed May 14, 1897. $erial No. 638,675. Term of patent 14 years.

-Be it known that I, EDWARD B. WILDER, a citizen of the United States, residing in the city of St. Louis, State of Missouri, have invented a new and useful Design for Nozzles for Vaginal Syringes, of which the following is a specification.

In the accompanying drawings, which form part of this specification, Figure 1 is a side elevation of my design for a nozzle. Fig. 2 is a horizontal cross-section of the same on the line 2 2.

The characteristic feature of my nozzle is the flattened conical shell, as disclosed in the accompanyingillustrations. The shape of this shell is shown in Fig. 2, showing a thin shell flattened on two sides and having the shape in elevation clearly shown in Fig. 1. The small end of the nozzle, Where the shell merges into the annular tube, is annular, while the wider end is elliptical, the angle at which the surface of the shell diverges from the axis gradually decreasing from near the small end toward the wide end. The outer surface of this shell is smooth or polished.

What I claim is- The design for a nozzle for vaginal syringes, as herein shown and described.
