WITNESSES B Y Q/ ATTORNE Ys GEORGE PUSCIZNA, OF AMSTERDAM, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A KNIFE.
Specification for Design.
Patented Dec. 19, 1911.
Application filed July 27, 1911. Serial No. 640,947. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GEORGE PUSGIZNA, a subject of the Emperor of Austria-Hungary, residing at Amsterdam, county of Montgomery, and State of New York, have invented a certain new, original, and ornamental Design for a Knife, of which the following is the specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The figure is a perspective view of the knife, illustrating my new design.
As shown in the drawings, the leading and material features of my design consist in a relatively wide blade, the back and edge of which lie parallel throughout the major portion of the length of the knife blade, the forward portion of the knife edge being convex and a corresponding portion of the knife back being concave, the concave and convex portions of the blade meeting in a point at the forward end of the blade with the point in a-plane substantially midway between the back and edge of the blade. Projecting from the rear end of the blade is the knife handle, the back of which is in substantially the same plane as the back of the blade, and the lower or under face of which handle is substantially parallel with butspaced some distance from the plane of the knife edge. The continuity of the back and under walls of the handle are relieved by slight depressions or concavities inter mediate the ends of the handle, and the handle is rounded at each end. In winding arrangement on the handle is an embossed flower and leaf ornamentation.
I claim The ornamental design for a knife, as shown and described.
GEORGE PUSCIZNA. Witnesses:
B. H. LIOHTMAN, BENJ. FURWANSKY.
