DESlGN FOR A SNOW-GUARD FOR ROOFS.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, EMRI W. CLARK, a citizen of the United States, residing at Nashua, county of Hillsborongh, and State of New Hampshire, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Snow-Guards for Roofs; and Ido declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

The herein-described design relates towhat are known as "snow-guards, the same consisting of a thin body portion havingahook on one of its ends and a transversally-triangular guard attached to its other end.

Figure 1 represents a perspective view of my design. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of my design for a snow-guard.

In my design the leading features consist of the thin body portion a, having the hook portion b formed on one of its ends and the portion 0 bent at right angles to the face of body portion a and extending longitudinally to the said body portion a. Attached to the bent portion a is the triangular guard portion d by means of the rivet f. Said guard portion (I is provided with the wings e e, extending at right angles to its body portion. The base 9 of the triangular guard d is raised above the body portion a. Its apex h is rounded, as shown.

Having fully described my design, what I claim is-- The design for a snow-guard for roofs as herein shown and described.
