SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,054, dated January 24, 1899.

To (tll whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, JAMES J. LONERGAN, a citizen of the United Sta es, and a resident of Cleveland, county of Cnyahoga, State of Ohio, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for atch-Basins, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a plan view of a catch-basin, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a side view thereof; and Fig. 3 is a sectional View taken on line or m, Fig. 1.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists in the external angular shape of the basin A and in the pendent portion of the top B, taken in connection with the straight overhanging edge of the top 0. The exterior is angular,

and, as shown, the upper portion is rectangular and the lower portion polygonal. The top is perforated at D. A circular flange is shown at the base of the basin. The pendent portion of the top is shown centrally depressed at I and turning sharply downward at 11.

Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
