DES IGN FOR A RElN-GUIDE.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, GEORGE IRvIN Snrrznn, a citizen of the United States, residing at VVilliamsport, in the county of Lycoming and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and original Design for a Rein Guide, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a rein-guide; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in a rein-guide having an arched base-plate curved on the arc of a circle and formed at the inner side of its terminals with tubularprojections and a circular figure or ring surmounting the arched base-plate intermediate its ends.
A minor feature of the design in connection with the features referred to resides in providing scrolled webs at opposite sides of the circular figure or ring and lying in the angles between such sides of the circular figure or ring and the upper side of the arched base-plate, said scrolled webs being formed with leafwork.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a rein-guide embodying the hereindescribed design. Fig. 2 is an elevation thereof.
Referring to the accompanying drawings, the numeral 1 designates the arched baseplate of the rein-guide, which is curved on the arc of a circle and is formed at the inner side of its terminals with rectangular tubular projections 2. At a pointintermediate the ends of the plate 2 the latter is surmounted by a circular figure or ring 3, merging into the base-plate and located between scrolled webs at. The scrolled webs 4lie in the angles between diametrically opposite sides of the circular figure or ring and the upper side of the arched base-plate, and said scrolled webs are formed with leafwork.
