DESIGN FOR A BASE FOR HOOP-LOCK CUTTERS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,176, dated April 2, 1895. Application filed June 8,1894- Serial No. 513,965. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it nmy concern.-
Be it known that I, ISAAC L. PENNEY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Minneapolis, in the county of I-Iennepin and State of Minnesota, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Base for Hoop- Lock Cutters, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a perspective view of the base embodying my invention. Fig. 2 is a transverse sectional view of the same showing the upwardly extending lugs for supporting the operating parts of the cutter.
The leading feature of my design consists in the base as shown,provided with the downwardly curved and inclined side and end portions from the corners of which the curved and inclined legs depend, the same being provided with outwardly projecting feet. From the top of the curved side portions project upwardly extending lugs, one extending above the other, as shown in Fig. 2.
The general form of the base is rectangular and the same is provided with a large opening in the top.
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design fora base for a hoop lock cutter substantially as shown and described herein.
