SAMI'EI. A. IIUYJIIISON, OF OAK HILL, VEST VIRGINIA.
DESIGN FOR A BOX-HANDLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,247, dated June 22, 1897.
Application filed February 19, 1897. Serial No. 624,252. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, SAMUEL A. IIL'TCHISON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Oak Hill, in the county of Fayette and State of \Vest Virginia, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Box- Ilandles; and I do declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
My invention relates to a design fora boxhandle.
It relates to the entire configuration of the handle, and especially to the design for the box-handle illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which the figure is aperspective view of a box-handle embodying my design.
The leading features of my design appear in the following description:
1 represents a rectangular case provided with a plane side 2, converging walls 3 3, and a plane top 4:, which joins the contiguous ends of the side 2 and converging walls 3 3.
5 5 represent diamond-pointed spurs projecting inwardly from the edges of the converging walls 3 3, and a corresponding diamond-pointed spur 6 extends inwardly from the top 4and in the same planeas the spurs 5 5.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim as new and useful, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is
The design for a box-handle, substantially as herein shown and described.
