DESIGN FOR A PACKING-JAR.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,613, dated May 10, 1898.

Application filed February 18, 1898. Serial No. 670,864. Tenn of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ROBERT FELsCHER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brenham, in the county of Washington and State of Texas, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Packing-J ar for Cigars; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a. part thereof.

My invention relates to a design for a packing-jar for cigars and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in Which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of a jar embodying my design. Fig. 2 is a vertical sectional view of same.

The leading or material features of the design appear in the following description,

A represents a cylindrical stone jar having an ornamental annular rim-flange b and an ornamental rectangular molding c, surrounding a smooth-surfaced field or panel d. 0n the jar is a cover or lid I), provided with an annular pendent iange e, inclosing a concavityf and an ornamental rim g. Projecting from the top of the cover is a knob h.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure byLetters Patent, is-

The design fora packiugjar for cigars, substantially as herein shown and described.
