THOMAS P. GREGER, OF PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA.
DESIGN FOR A MANHOLE-FRAME.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,955, dated December 7, 1897.
Application filed October 8, 1897. Serial No. 654,696. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, THOMAS P. GREGER, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia and State of Pennsylvania, have invented and produced a new and original Dcsign for a Manhole-Frame, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof, in which- Figure 1 is a top or plan view of a manholeframe of the design of my invention, and Fig. 2 is a vertical sectional view on the line a; a: of Fig. 1, these two views being deemed essential to show the particular shape or configuration of the manhole-frame of my said design.
As illustrated in the drawi1igs,the leading feature of design of a nlftllllOlGil'LlIlQ consists of the annular and tapering throat or casting A, constituting the manhole provided with an integral base 1) at an angle to said frame or casting A and with an internal curved surface and fiat-face ledge a on the interior for the reception of a suitable cover adapted to close the month of said casting or frame A.
Having thus described my invention,what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Let ters Patent, is-
The design for a manhole-frame, substantially as herein shown and described.
