The invention comprises the following features: The elliptical or oval mouth or opening 1, with the major axis passing from front to rear at the diameter of the vessel; the upwardly inclined flanges 2, 2 about said mouth or opening, the upward inclination of said flanges appearing in Fig. :2, said flanges having their greatest breadth or width at their central portion substantially on the line of the transverse diameter of the vessel, as shown in Fig. 1; said flanges being slightly dished. at their broadest part; said Specification for Design.
Patented July 8, 1913.
Serial No. 652,447. Term of patent 14 years.
flanges gradually diminish in breadth as they approach the front and rear of the vessel, merging at the front into the spout 3: the base of the vessel, shown in dotted lines F 1, is circular in form: the sides 4: of the vessel incline inwardly upward from the base to the line where they merge into the outwardly and upwardly extending flanges 2; the inward inclination of the sides 4 is greatest on the line of transverse vertical section of the vessel, or where the flanges 2 have their greatest width, as shown in Fig. 2, and least at the front and rear of the vessel, as seen in Fig. 3; the upper outer rim of the vessel is slightly inclined upward from the spout toward the rear of the vessel where it is slightly depressed, as shown in Fig. 3.
I claim The ornamental design for a chamber vessel, as shown and described.
