.m: mums Pnms an, wax-ammo" wAsHmnToN u c UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
ERNEST E. CANEDY, OF NORTH ADAMS, MASSACHUSETTS.
DESIGN FOR A HOLDER FOR SHOE-RACKS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,334, dated September 13, 1898.
Application filed August 10, 1898. Serial No. 688,308. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ERNEST E. CANEDY, a citizen of the United States, residing at North Adams, in the county of Berkshire and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Holders 4 for Shoe-Racks, of which the following is a specification.
Myinvention relates to a new and novel design for a holder for shoe-racks and the leading feature consists in the peculiar shape or configuration given to the same, whereby a neat and ornamental appearance is presented.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective View of a holder constructed according to my design. Fig. 2 is a plan View of the same. Fig. 3 is an end View.
In the said drawings, the reference-letter A designates the holder, bent at or near the center, forming an upwardly-extending hook B. Said holder is then bent laterally outward in opposite directions, forming two longitudinal arms A, and then bent backwardly, forming two parallel arms A the extremities of which are bent into eyes 0, which are connected with each other.
A holder constructed as above will present an ornamental appearance and can be readily distinguished from articles of like character now in use.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim is The design for a holder for shoe-racks, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand in presence of two subscribing witnesses.
ERNEST E. cANEDY.
