ROBERT P. A. BERRYMAN, OF LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY.
DESIGN FOR A PUZZLE-BOX.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 28,316, dated February 22, 1898.
Application filed October 11, 1897. Serial No. 664,889. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, ROBERT P. A. BERRY- MAN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Louisville, in the county of Jefferson and State of Kentucky, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Puzzle Boxes or Cases, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
In the drawings forming part of this specification, Figure 1 is a plan view of my design; Fig. 2, a cross-section on the line 2 2.
As shown in the drawings, the leading feature of my design consists of a plate or board, rectangular in form, and a plurality of annular walls extending vertically above the face of said plate. These annular walls are arranged concentrically with each other and each annular Wall is of smaller diameter in regular order. A plurality of radial walls or partitions extend between adjacent annular walls. Annular spaces separate the annular walls and radial spaces divide the walls.
The numerals 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 refer to the annular walls, and the numerals 7, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 to the annular spaces.
The numeral 20 refers to the radial walls, and the numeral 18 refers to the radial spaces, while the numeral 7 refers to the inner annular space.
The upper surface of the plate or board 5 is plane and smooth throughout its extent.
Having fully described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent- The design for a puzzle box or case as herein shown and described.
