DESlGN FOR A CAKE OR BAR OF SOAP.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,556, dated August 24, 1897. Application filed May 12,1897. Serial No. 636,241. Term of patent 14 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that LWILLIAn GEORGE WEB n, a citizen of the United States, residing at Baltimore, in the State of Maryland, have in- 5 vented and produced a new and original Design fora Cake or Barof Soap; andI do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, form- 10 ing a part hereof, and in which-- 1 5 which I form oblong in shape and with curved ends, and the flattened broad surfaceof which I ornament with a series of knobs or knots A, so that the oblong face of the cake will present the appearance of a number of mounds 20 or knolls with intervening plane surfaces,

said mounds and intervening planes being made the prominent or leading features of the design. In the middle of the face of the cake is formed an oblong plane surface C, around which the knots or knobs form a border and which is designed to receive the name which may be used to designate the cake or bar.

Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a bar or cake of soap, as herein shown and described.
