Be it known that I, LEVI G. MALK1N,0 the city and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be lnwrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place ot' those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpetweaving a defined and thorough description ot' the nature ot' my invention, and are suiiicient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving to use my invention.

The configuration ofthe design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification.
