DESIGN FOR CARPETS.

Specification forming part of Design No. 9,021, dated February 22, 1876; application filed February 11, 1876. [Term of Patent 31} years] To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, OTTO HEINIGKE, of New k Utrecht, Kings county, and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be In wrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings or photographs accom pan yin g this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving a defined and thorough description of the nature of my invention, and are suflicient to enahie any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving to use my invention.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification.
