MALKIN, ot' the city and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwiought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith, and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpetweaving a dened and thorough description ofthe nature ot' my invention, and are sufficient to enable an y one skilled in the art of carpetweaving to use my invention.

The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification.
