Specification forming part of Design No. 9,024, dated February 22, 1876; application led February 11, 1876. [Term of Patent Si years] To all whom lit may concern:

Be it known that I, OTTO HEINIGKE, of New Utrecht, Kings county, and State ot' New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be Inwrought into Ingrain and other Carpeting, in colors similar to those'painted on the drawings or photographs accompanying this speciication, or in other colors substituted in the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereinv declare that the drawings accompanying this specication do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpet-weaving a defined and thorough description of the nature of my invention, and are sufficient to enable any one skilled in the art of carpet-weavin g to use my invention.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, When applied to carpeting, in the forln similar to the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification.
