DESIGN FOR A WATCH-FOB.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,319, dated July 13, 1897.
Application filed May 15, 1897. Serial No. 636.796. Term of patent 3i years.
To (126 whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, EDWIN L. PRICKETT, a citizen of the United States, residingat Mount Holly, in the countyof Burlington and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and original Design for a \Vateh-Fob, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design for a watch-fob; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in a watch-fob having a flat oblong body-piece provided with an alined longitudinal series of openings, a series of folded links provided with rounded side portions with openings therein and successively looped through each other and the openings in the body-piece, and a separate fiat plate pendent from the lowermost link.
A minor feature of the design resides in providing the fiat oblong body-piece with rounded ends and in having a strap-loop connected with the upper end of the body-piece and the uppermost folded link.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a watch-fob embodying the hereindescribed design. Fig. 2 is a plan View of the reverse side of the fob. Fig. 3 is a central longitudinal sectional View thereof.
Referring to the drawings, the numeral 1 designates a fiat oblong bod y-piece provided with rounded ends 2 and an alined longitudinal series of openings 3. The body-piece 1 has interlaced therein the folded links 4, which are provided with rounded side portions having circular openings 5 therein, and which folded links are successively looped through each other and the openings in the body-piece to provice a duplicate design at each side of the body-piece. A separate fiat oblong figure or plate 6 is hung from the lowerinost link 4 and is illustrated as being provided with surface ornamentation and rounded ends 7.
The design is completed by connecting a strap-loop 8 with the upper end of the bodypiece 1 and the uppermost link 4.
What I claim is The design for a watch-fob herein shown and described.
