DESIGN FOR A GOOKS STOVE.

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that we, JoHN MARTINO, JAco BEnsLav, and JOHN CURRIE, of the city and county of Philadelphia, and State of Pennsylvania, have invented or originated a new Design for Cook-Stoves, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying photograph, making a part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of the stove.

Figure 2 is a like view of the back plntc.

Like letters in both figures indicate the same parts.

On the upper rail a, of the side A, is the name of the stove, Christiana'Cook, having a double scroll ornament, b, beneath it, with a curved continuation united with end ornaments c. On the lower rail d there is a raised panel e, with a continued bead and dot ornamentf around it, and au ornament g projecting from each end of the bead ornament. On the panel e is the name of the manufacturing firm, C. W. Blandy t Brother, Newark, Delaware. Each oven-door B, has a bead, b', running around it` On the middle portion of the door is an elliptical ornament, i, there being an egg-shaped projection, j, in the centre, and leaves running therefrom and bordered by a continuous bead and dot ornament, lc, outside of which there are corner ornaments l. The ornamentation of the side iiredoors C is similar to that of the oven-doors B. The same may be said of the ash-pit doors D, with' the exception that the transverse axis of the elliptical ornaments is horizontal instead of perpendicular, as on the doors B. The ornamentation of the front fire-doors E is also similar to that of the doors B. There is a vertical ornament, m, on each front stile. On the top, in front, each side of the feederdoor, there is a cornucopiae ornament, n, which has a hinge socket for the feeder'door. The feet F have at top, from the centre each way, a diverging leaf ornament, o. Beneath these there is an elliptical leaf ornament, i', with an egg-shaped projection, j', in the centre. At the bottom part of the foot there is a cluster of leaves, p, projecting upwards. -The back plate G, seen in g. 2, is raised crosswise, and has a. central ornament resembling that on the door B, but considerably flattened. The leaves, however, which radiate from the egg-shaped projection j, are of different configuration. There is on each side of the central ornament a vertical running-leaf ornament, p. l

What we claim as our invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is

The design for cook-stoves, as shown and described.
