AUGUST GOERTZ, OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR A PURSE-FRAME.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,506, dated January 12, 1897. Application filed May 5, 1896. Serial No. 590,376. Term of patent 8% years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, AUGUST GOERTZ, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and original Design for Purse-Frames, of which the following is a specification.
In the accompanying drawing, forming a part of this specification, a perspective View of a purse-frame embodying my new design is shown.
The leading features of my design are a central rope ornamentation on the center of the top piece and a gradually-tapering head ornamentation at each end of the rope ornam entation and longitudinally on the top piece. In the drawing, A is the pnrse-frame, of the conventional U shape; 13, the top piece; D, the rope ornament, and E the tapering head ornament on the top of the top piece.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
A design for pnrse-fraines, substantially as herein shown and described.
