JOHN W. MAILLOT, OF NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH, MASSACHUSETTS, ASSIGNOR TO F. M. WHITING & (30., OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A HANDLE FOR SPOONS, 80G.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,057, dated February 13, 1894.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JOHN W. MAILLOT, a citizen of the United States, residing at North Attleborough, Bristol county, State of Massa- 5 chusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Handles of Spoons and the Like, of which the following is a specification.
4 In the drawings: Figure 1, represents a front or face View of a spoon the handle of which is ornamented with the design. Fig. 2, shows a rear view of the spoon with the design upon that face of the handle.
Upon the faces of the spoon handle and following the outline thereof the design is arranged and composed as follows: At the head of the handle A upon its front face is located a compound scroll 1; below this on the left hand side is a compound ogee scroll 2 5 below this is a compound scroll 3 5 at the center of the handle is located a compound branch scroll 4.; following the shank are flowers and Application filed January 15, 1394- SerialNo. 496,987 Term of patent 3% years.

I claim- The design for the handles of spoons, and the like as shown and described.
