DESIGN FOR A MIRROR-CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,928, dated August 11, 1896.
Application filed July 9, 1896' Serial No. 598,611. Term of patent 3-! years.
To all whom, it may conoern:
Be it known that I, ANTON J. ROLLER'J, a citizen of the United States, residing at (thicago, in the eonntyof Cook and State of Illinois, have invented a certain new and original Design for Barbers Mirror-Cases; and I do hereby declare the following tobe a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
This invention relates to a novel design for a piece of furniture, as hereinafter fully described and claimed.
The accompanying drawing shows a front elevation of my novel design.
My design consists in the novel ornamentation and configuration of a piece of furniture intended for use in a barber-shop, and is known as a mirror-ease." The barberchairs are situated in front of these cases.
The design shown in said drawing consists of a back pieee divided horizontally a little below its center by lines representing a shelf 1, above which is represented a series of large and small panels 2 and 3,although the end panels are subdivided into two smaller panels 4. Above each of the panels 2 is an ornamented pediment, while above panels 3 and 4 are overhanging pediments, between which and the shelf I extend columns, at the top of which are arches having ornamented panels. Ilelow the shelf 1 the back piece is ornamented by panels, while below the panels I and 14. forwardly-projeeting cabinets are located, hav ing a central upright column extending from the bottom of the mirror-ease to the shelf with ornamental brackets between the said eolnmns and shelf. The cabinets are represented half-width at the sides or below panels 4.
I claim as my invention- The design for a mirror-ease, substantially as shown and described.
