DESIGN FOR A KITCHEN-CABINET.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,271, dated June 29, 1897.

Application filed April 10, 1897. Serial No. 631,632. Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom, zit may concern:

Be it known that I, ARABELLA E. MORTON, a citizen of the United States, residing at Omaha, in the county of Douglas and State of Nebraska, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Kitchen-Cabinets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, showing a part thereof.

This invention relates to certain new and useful improvements in a design for kitchencabinets, and which will be more fully hereinafter described and claimed.

In the accompanying drawing the figure represents a perspective view of a kitchencabinet embodying the invention, and referring thereto, wherein similar numerals of reference are employed to indicate corresponding parts, the numeral 1 designates a rectangular body or base having a top 2 with projecting beveled edges 3, said edges 3 being cut off by diagonal lines l at the front. The front of the body 1 has a panel 5 in the lower portion thereof provided with central circular beads 6 and in the corners having meeting curved lines 7, forming beads, and with the adjacent horizontal lines 8 and 9 and the vertical lines 10, forming an octagonal figure. The said vertical lines 10 extend entirely across the front of the body 1 parallel with the edge lines 11 and are connected by a sei ries of cross-lines 12 at regular intervals, meeting horizontally straight and curved lines 13. The upper horizontal line 8 above the panel 5 iscontinued on opposite sides by the horizontal lines 12 at this point, as are also similar horizontal parallel lines 14. On one or both sides of the body 1 are a series of parallel rounded arms 15, provided with beveled ends 16. Situated on the rear part of the top 2 is an arch 17, consisting of rectangular standards 19 and connected at the top by a rectangular shelf 20, below which is an intermediate shortershelf 21 of the sameform.

On the top of the arch 17 is a cap 22, having a series of circular rosettes 23, arranged in triangular form, and the edges of the said cap are beveled and of curved outline, as at 24, being composed of double curved rolls 25. At the front of the body 1 is also a rectangular outline 26.

Having thus described the invention, what is claimed as new is- The design for a kitchen-cabinet as herein described and shown.
