DESIGN FOR A CABINET.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,220, dated April 24, 1894. Application filed March 20,1894- Serinl No.504,46l Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom, it may concern..-
Be it known that I, FRED G. SHOUDY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Rockford, in the county of Winnebago and State 5 of Illinois, haveinvented and produced anew and original Design for Cabinets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, showing a part thereof.
This design relates to cabinets for grocers use, in which the top is of less width than the bottom, the front provided with a series of panels, and the top having aplatform located in a horizontal plane and the remainder-slant- 15 ing toward the rear of the case.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1, is a perspective view of the cabinet as seen from the front. Fig. 2, is a perspective view as seen from the rear.
The front of the cabinet is divided by vertical divisions 1, and horizontal divisions 2, which form a. series of openings which are closed by panels 3, of molding, leavinga central opening. The sides of the cabinet are 25 formed with the panels and the top base.

Underneath the top is placed a trimming of molding 8, and upon the horizontal portion of the top is placed a railing having irregular shaped ends 9, joined by lengthwise bars 10, the bars being connected by spindles 11. The top is of less width than the bottom portion, the rear corner standing in a vertical position which will cause the front to recede at the top.
The rear side of the cabinetis provided with three panels 12, extending the length of the case, and two shorter panels 13, above the lengthwise panels having a central opening which is closed by a panel 14.
This cabinet is supported upon feet 15.
