DESIGN FOR A FIRE-POT LINING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,888, dated August 4, 1896. Applinntion filed June 18,1396. Serial No. 596,081. Term of patent 14 years.

CLFNIPIS, n citizen of the lfnitied States. residing at ltoehenter, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented and prodneed :1 new and original Design for n Fire-Pot Lining for Stores and Ranges, of which the Following in a speeifiention, reference heinglnid to the no eonipmiyin r lflrmvings thereof.

The leading feature of 1n \'(lesign is the shape and configuration of the lire-pot lining.
l indicates the top of the lining.zn1d2 the fur-e thereof, extending at sulistnntially right angles thereto. The tnee 2 is ellt'YOd slightly outwnrd at 3 to meet the surface 4, near one end curved down to the thin edge, and Hi the upper part of the curved surface 4. is n recess 5, a corresponding projection 4; being formed on the rear side of the lining, as at the left of Fig. L. The extreme end (at the right in Fig. 1) is provided with the recess 7, the lower part of which is out through the well, and at the extreme lower portion of this end is pro vided with the flange 8. On the rear side this end is provided with n rearward projee tion 9.
The left end, Fig. l, of the lining is elightly rounding on the face, and at the upper end is a recess 10, corresponding to the projection ll on the rear, and the lower part of the fore has the flange l2 and is cut away at 13 be neath it. The extreme left edge, Fig. 1 is recessed or notehed at lit. The rear of this left end is shown particularly in Fig. 2 at the right, being curved and shaped the reverse of the front side and provided with the renr- \\'&1ttll}-QXl0lltlll]g projection 1 correspond ing generally to the projection H on the other end.
