DESIGN FOR A CONVERTER-BOX.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,143, dated March 20, 1894.
Application filed January 25,1394. Serial No. 498,057- Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, JAMES WARD PACKARD, of Warren, in the county of Trumbull and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for Converter- Boxes; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full,clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
This is a design for a converter box.
In the accompanying drawings:-Figure 1 is a front elevation with parts broken away and in section. Fig. 2 is an end view thereof. Fig. 3 is a rear view.
The leading features of my design are as fol1ows:-First: The box A of approximately U-shape, that is, its sides are straight, as at a, and curved at a, and from this curved portion the box is extended as at a. Second: The box A having the upper edges of its back 1) extended as at b. Third: The box A having its back provided with diagonally arranged ribs or extensions C, which taper from their outer ends at the corners of box A to about the center thereof. Fourth: The cover D tapering from its center to its edge and having a flared portion (l.
I claim as my invention- The design for converter boxes, substantially as herein shown and described.
