SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,793, dated. December 2 1 0 Application filed November 20, 1900. Serial H0- 37,183- Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom, it may concern.-

Be it known that I, CHARLES T. McCUE, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Hartford, in the county of Hartford and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Stay- End Applicable for Use in the Running-Gcar of Vehicles, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a. side view of astay-end, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is an end view of the same. Fig. 3 is a bottom view.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a body portion a, that when viewed in side elevation or in plan presents a long appearance as compared with its breadth or thickness. This body portion has at one end a projection 1), extending in a direction at an angle to the axis of the body portion. This Dl'UJGL'liOl] when viewed from the end, as shown in Fig. 3, is of rectangular form; but at its junction with the body portion (1. there are formed lateral projections 0. These projections o are of curved form when the stay-end is viewed in side elevation, as shown in Fig. 1, forming recesses 0' when seen from the under side, as shown in Fig. 3.
