DESIGN FOR A CLASP FOR BELTS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,062, dated September 22, 1891.
Application filed August 31, 1891. Serial No. 404,344 Term of patent 7 years.
To all whon'z it may concern.-
Be it known that I, GEORGE M. HUBBARD, of New llaven, in the conntyol' New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for a Clasp for Belts, (Case A;) and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawin constit ute partof this specification, and represent, in
Figure 1, a face View of the two parts engaged; Fig. 2, a face View of the eye part; Fig. 3, a face View of the hook part.
This invention relates to a design for a clasp for body-belts, with special reference to the hook-and-eye portions of the clasps; and the design consists in the configuration,- as shown in the accompanying illustration and hereinafter described.
A represents the buckle of the eye part, and B the buckle of the hook part. From the eye part the eye projects, representing a bridle-bit check, a. representing the bar, and I) the ring. From the hook part is a projection representing a horseshoe o as the hook, and when the two are together, as in Fig. 1, they present the appearance of a combined horseshoe and bit-cheek, as shown in the accompanying illustrations.
I claim The design for a clasp for belts, as described, and shown in the accompanying illustrations.
