Application filed Octolur i, 18%. Serial No ESQSOIL Term of pnieni flf, years To all whom 7'1 may concern.-
.30 it known that I, EDWIN B. S'rnursoN, Jr., of the city of Brooklyn, in the county ofKings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Trimmings, of which the followingisaspccification.
My design is especially intended for tri|n mings made of leather.
I will describe my design in detail, and then point out the novel features in the claim.
lhe accompanying drawing illustrates my design.
My design consists, essentially, of a zigzag row of circles. In the example of my invention shown the zigzag row of circles comprises two straight rows, each made up of groups of four circles, c, and spaces a between the said groups. The spaces a of one row are arranged opposite a group of circles, a, in theothcrrow. The design is therefore substantially a zigzag row of circles. Outside the rows of circles I have shown scallops c, of alternate angular and curved outline, whereby points and semicireles are formed.
\Vhat I claim as my design is The design for trimmings, consisting of two rows of circles, each row being composed of groupsofeircles and spaceshetween thegroups, the groups of circles of one row being opposite the spaces of the other row, and scallops out- 30 side of said rows, substantially as shown.
