DESIGN FOR A LADYS WALKING-SKIRT.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 18,217, dated March 27, 1888.

Application filed February 23, lESB. Seria-1 No. 265.055. Term of patent years.

Be it known that I, JENNIE SHEILs, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern of a Ladys talking-Skirt; and I do hereby declare that the engraved prints accompanying this specification convey to any one accustomed tousing paper patterns a clear understanding of how agarment made up by the pattern will appear.

The design shows a round walkingskirt that displays a full tablier reaching to the edge of the skirt at the left side of the front, falling in jabot folds at the right side of the front, in

flaring folds from the belt, and in a short pannier on the right hip, and a full back drapery falling tothe edge of the skirt at the left side, and exhibiting jabot folds at the right side, bournous loopings at the top, and jabot folds below the loops.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The design for a ladys walkingskirt, as shown in the engraved prints accompanying this specification.
