SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 15,582, dated November 25,1884.

Beit known that I, MARY TURNER, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern of a Ladys Costume, (num` bered 9,497 and I do hereby declare that the engraved prints accompanying this speeilication convey to any one accustomed to using paper patterns a clear understanding of how a garment made up by the pattern will appear.

The design shows a round walking-skirt and an overdress. The skirt displays a front drapery that exhibits draping plaits high up at the left side, and falls about to the foot of the skirt at the right side, where it appears to be folded over in awide graduated revers. The overdress exhibits closely-fitted short basquefronts that display a fastening all the way down, and lapel ornaments extending from Term of patent 35 years.
