DESIGN FOR A COOKING-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 14,945, dated April 8, 1884.
Application filed March 3, 1884.

Be it known that I, WILLIAM M. GART- SHORE, of London, in the county of Middlesex and Province of Ontario, Canada, have invented a new and original Design for Cooking- Stoves,ofwhich the following isa specification.
The drawing is a perspective.
Heretofore cooking stoves and ranges have been made rectanguiar; and the new design which I have invented and produced consists in a cooking-stove witl'ithe ordinary dat iop and square sides and ends,eXcept that the part of the front which surrounds and contains the repot is polygonal, and hasmica Windows on one or more ot' its sides to show the fire, in imitation ofa baseburner.
In my new design, A is the fiat top; B, the square lower portion of the front, and C the polygonal upper portion ot' the front, surrounding the fire-pot, having therein one or more mica windows, G. D E represent doors of the oven and plate-warming compartment, and F represents a water-heater of the usual form employed when no water-back is used.
What I claim as my design, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is y 1. The herein-described design for a cooking-stove having a [iat top, rectangular sides, and a polygonal front surrounding the fireA pot. Y
2. The hereindescribed design for a cooking-stove having a flat top, rectangular sides, and a polygonal frontsurrounding the nre-pot, and having mica windows in the sides thereof.
