To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, WILLIAM MGOALLUM, of South Orange, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and 5 Original Design for Carpets, of which the foling is a specith-ation.
This invention relates to a new and original design for carpets and similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel grouping and configura- IO tion of parts, hereina-lter more fully described.

The figure E represents a flower group composed of circular flowers in the center surrounded by leaves and foliage, and is connected by the stem (1 with the central flower group, B. The whole rfl'ect, of the design is that of a plain hackgrounr'l having upon it the flower groups B, U, and E, which are apparently joined by the curving vine D, running through the pattern.
I claim- The design for carpets, consisting of the group B, containing figures b a, vine D, group (J, figures g and a, group E, and figure (1, substantially as shown.
