To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, WILLIAM MGOALLUM, of South Orange, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a new and 5 Original Design for Carpets, of which the foling is a specith-ation.

This invention relates to a new and original design for carpets and similar fabrics; and it consists in the novel grouping and configura- IO tion of parts, hereina-lter more fully described.

The whole rfl'ect, of the design is that of a plain hackgrounr'l having upon it the flower groups B, U, and E, which are apparently joined by the curving vine D, running through the pattern.

I claim- The design for carpets, consisting of the group B, containing figures b a, vine D, group (J, figures g and a, group E, and figure (1, substantially as shown.
