DESIGN FOR A WHlSK-BROOM CASE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 13,468, dated December 5, 1882.
Application tiled October 24, 1882. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, JAMES H. FLYNN and JACOB ARTHUR SNELL, citizens of the United States, residing nt Schenectady, in the county of Schenectady and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for 'hisk-Broom Cnscs,of which the following is a specification, reference being had tothe accompanying illnstratioinibrming part thereof.
Aisthewhiskbrouwen,havingthegeneral forni of the brnslnopen at the top auf. bottom. Bands a a are placed at the top and botmni, but may be omitted. Between the band! on the body of the case may be placed one or more ornaments, b. e
B is the back of the whisk-brooin case, made in the general form of a painters pallet, and preferably of such dimensions that it projects beyond the case A, which is placed on the back B in such n position that the thumb-hole of the pallet is left uncovered and visible as shown. The back B may have on its surface one or more ornaments, c. The case A and back B are placed in such relative positions to each other that when the whisk-broom D is placed in the case the back A forms abackground, against which the shoulders of the whisk-broom are displayed, as shown.
We claiml. The design for a whisk-broom case herein shown, which consists in the case A, having bands a a, and the pallet-shaped back B.
