This invention relates to ii design for the class of pitchers known ns iee-pitchers5 and consists in the shape and ornamentation, as shown in the accompanying ilinstration, and hereinafter described. t
The body of the pitcher is oval in horizontal section, :is seen in Fig. 2. vertically it; is straight, or of substantially equal diameter. Around the base is a molding, a, and directly above this base-molding is a double ornamented bond, b c, n plain bead, d, between the two, and :i similar bend, c, nt the edge o1' the upper band. Around the tol is n neck-molding, f, and below this` nu ornznncnted band, l1. The decoration on the surl'nceot' the body, bctween the bands nt the bottoni and the band at the top, is in iinimtion of' Japanese work; but this may be varied, ns well ns the handle, spout, :ind cover, without depnriing i'roni the essential features of this design, which nre the oval shape of' the body, with the brise-molding and bands nt` the botroni and neck-moldingl and band ntA the top.
