RYR, of the city of Burlington, in the county of Chittenden, and State of Vermont, have invented a new and improved Watch, C1ocl{,and 'Loek-Key; and I do hereby declarethat the following is a. full and exact description thereof, reference being had 'to the accompanying drawings, and the letters of reference marked thereon. v The`na'ture of my invention or'improvement consists in the manner of Voperetng `adjustable watcl1elocl r, undjlock-keys. Iconstruct the split spring-barrel B^ of theform as shown, nndplace thereon the sleeve G,.fpr -the purpose ot adjusting. the barrel B 'to any desired size; I then add to the sleeve C the finding-,ring A, which ring is also used'in connection with the -sleeve Cfto adjust the lrey to proper size. `To prevent the sleeve C from slidingA up .end off the barrel B, I'either upset the small end ot" the barrel simply, or introduce the washer E for that- ,purposq in the rnanner shawn byiigQZ. I place upon the barrel B,ju`stal5ov,e the shoulders F, the ring G, for `the purpose of strengthening the key whenbeing used to its largest s ze.
