  • a mould for casting a plurality of bodies of concrete comprises a pair of end members and a plurality of pairs of side members disposed between said end members, the side members of each pair spaced from each other and connected together by a bottom plate.
  • Connecting means releasably connects said end and side members to each other so that the mould may be of selected length providing a selected number of mould cavities.
  • Each pair of side members has mutually spaced inner side faces of angulated form so that adjoining side members define a recess along their lengths, and partitions span certain of said pairs of side members and have their opposite sides edges removably positioned in said recesses to define a mould cavity between adjacent partitions.
  • the partitions are positively located but removably held by said recesses and they consist of precast bodies formed in said mould.

In this way the cavities in the mould may be opened, for removing the bodies obtained out of the mould, as on the joint of the parts of the mould the concrete body is freely accessible.

  • a mould for casting a plurality of bodies of concrete comprising a pair of end members and a plurality of pairs of side members disposed between said end members, the side members of each pair being disposed in spaced relation to each other and connected together by a bottom plate, connecting means for releasably connecting said end and side members to each other so that said mould may be of selected length providing a selected number of mould cavities, each pair of side members having mutually spaced, angularly disposed inner side faces with such faces of adjoining side members defining a recess along their lengths, and partitions spanning certain of said pairs of side members and having opposite side edges removably positioned in said recesses to define a mould cavity between adjacent partitions, the partitions being positively located but removably held by said recesses, said partitions consisting of precast bodies formed in said mould.
