PACKAGE FOR STATIONERY.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 312,756, dated February 24:, 1885.
Application filed November 14, 1884. (Model) the following to be a full, clear, and correct description of my invention, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, making part of To this specification, and to the letters of 1'efer ence marked thereon, in which- The figure is a perspective view of my stationery-package, the cover of the same shown open.
In the drawing like parts ofethe invention are designated by the same letters of referen cc.
The nature of my invention consists in the construction, as hereinafter setforth, of a package for the reception of stationery, the object of the invention being the production of a package for the reception of stationery conipact and convenient for use.
To enable those skilled in the arts to make and use my invention, I will describe the same.
Ashows my stationery-package,which consists ofa box of paper, wood, or suitable material provided with the lid or cover B. About two-thirds of the package is intended for the reception of the writing-paper and envelopes, the package or box being divided by inserting in it a division-plate, O. The space be tween this division-plate C and the front of thepackage is provided with a shelf, D, subdivided into a receptacle, E, for sealing-wax, a receptacle, I for a seal, a receptacle, G, for a candle, and a circular support, H, for the candle.
It will be seen that by the construction of the package as shown the various articles of stationery are packed in compact shape, and when necessary to use them this particular form of package will be found of great convenience.
Having now described my invention,l claim as new-'- A package for stationery, A, provided with a cover, B, division-plate G, shelf D, receptacle E, for sealing-wax, receptacle E, for aseal, receptacle G, for a candle, and candle-support H, constructed as and for the purposes indicated.
